| In Arizona, emissoins testing is done on a dyno running through the gears accelerationg to 55 mph for 2-3 minutes. I am running 720cc injectors, Jun cams. Put in cats.
I have no EGR. So I was worried about my NOX readings. With the AFC at zero setting for low throttle I got the following HC .28 standard is 1.00
CO 4.46 standard is 12.00
NOX 2.57 standard is 2.5 I failed the first test because the NOX. NOX is goes up with running lean. My FJO was showing on the lean side during test.
Second test I richened up the afc on low throttle 15% @ 2000 rpm 10% 3000 rpm >
My HC and CO and NOX dropped to the following .21, 3.32, 1.55 passed. The FJO was showing less lean and stoich readings.
Guess the JWT ecu runs lean for cruising and part throttle acceleration.
